In 2020, South-Korean giant, Samsung has announced its two truly-wireless earphones – the Galaxy Buds+ that launched alongside the Galaxy S20 series and the AKG N400 that was announced recently in South Korea. And now, a new leak reveals that Samsung is working on a new Galaxy Bud that may launch later this year.
This leak comes from Winfuture.de which is a well-known German tech blog. They leaked some images of the upcoming Galaxy Bud that gave us the first look at these buds which comes with a never-seen design.
As of now, there is no confirmation on the official name of this device but its codename is revealed to be “Bean” which might be due to its kidney bean-like shape. It also has the model number SM-R180. Winfuture.de reports they were able to get their hands on sketches and 3D models of the earbuds.
If we talk about the shape of the upcoming truly wireless earphone from Samsung, it looks like the earbuds should provide a secure fit for several users with its bean-like design. It is seen sporting two speakers out of which one is likely for treble and midrange or low tones. There are also two contact pins for charging and three microphones.
As of now, the specifications and features of this earbud are still unknown but we can expect to hear more about that soon in the future. As for its availability, there is no defined release date for the earbuds, however, we can expect to see them launching alongside the Galaxy Note20 series in August.
