Nothing has decided to enhance the power of its new smartphone by equipping it with the premium Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor from Qualcomm. While this chip may not be the latest model (that distinction belongs to the 8 Gen 2 released last year), it still surpasses the power of the Snapdragon 778G found in the previous Nothing Phone (1). By including the 8 Gen 1 chip, the Phone (2) not only becomes faster, but it also improves the device’s efficiency. This translates to extended battery life and less frequent charging.
In addition to this performance boost, the Phone (2) will also feature an upgraded Glyph Interface located beneath its transparent rear panel. Moreover, Nothing has introduced the Glyph Composer, allowing users to personalize and remix Swedish House Mafia’s custom sounds. By tapping different pads on the screen, users can trigger various light and sound combinations to compose their own unique Glyph Ringtone.
