Samsung is rolling out OneUI 4.1 update for the Galaxy Tab A7 10.4 (2022). The new OneUI update brings Android 12 and bumps up the security patch to June 2022. The update is currently available in European countries and will soon be rolling out to users in other countries.
The Android 12 update for Galaxy Tab A 10.4 (2022) brings a new user interface with a colour palette. The update also brings redesigned widgets and introduces new widgets for the lock screen with an improved widget picker UI. It also improves the dark mode. The update also revamps the stock apps, including Samsung Calendar, Samsung Gallery, Samsung Internet, Samsung Keyboard, Samsung Files and Bixby.
Samsung’s OneUI 4.1 update also improves the sharing menu. It also changes the in-built photo and video editor, allowing users to add stickers to images and videos. The AR Emojis have also been updated and now offer more customisation options with new face stickers, and you can make your avatar dance. The new update also brings enhanced edge panels and picture-in-picture mode for the tablet. Furthermore, there is a privacy dashboard now, and the system also shows indicators for active camera and microphone usage indicators. Also, you can enable or disable the camera and microphone access through a quick settings toggle.
The OneUI 4.1 update for Galaxy Tab A 10.4 bears the firmware version T505XXU3CVE7 and is available for the LTE model in the European region. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.4 (2022) users can check for the OTA update from Settings, then head to the Software update and tap Download and Install if the update shows up.
