Samsung rolls out update to address touchscreen issues on Galaxy S20 FE


Samsung Galaxy S20 FE users recently reported ghost touch issues with the phone’s display. As posted by some users on Reddit, they were experiencing jittery scrolling issues, especially while zooming on the phone’s screen. Now, Samsung has addressed this issue with a software update.
The update comes with build number G781BXXU1ATK1 and brings improvements to the smartphone’s touchscreen. It was first reported by a Reddit user who also shared a screenshot of the update on his device.
The firmware comes with minor bugs and fixes. It also updates the Android security patch for the month of November. The update is 202.34MB in size.
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE specifications
The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE or the Fan Edition is equipped with a 6.5-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The handset’s display offers a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone runs on the company’s own One UI based on Android 10 and is powered by an Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor.
The device has two RAM models- 6GB and 8GB paired with 128GB and 256GB storage capacities. It comes with a microSD card slot to expand the storage up to 1TB. On the camera front, the Galaxy S20 FE has a 32MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
The rear camera system comprises a 2MP main sensor with LED flash, f/1.8 aperture, 8MP telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture, and 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture. The handset is backed by a 4,500mAh battery. It is equipped with 25watt fast charging with wireless PowerShare feature.
For security, the handset features an optical fingerprint sensor. Samsung Galaxy S20 FE comes with an IP68 rating making the device dust and water resistant.
