Samsung releases a 3D Scanner app for the Galaxy Note 10+

Today, Samsung has made available the Galaxy Note 10 series globally across 70 countries. To celebrate this global availability of these smartphones, Samsung has released a new app for the Galaxy Note 10+. This brand new app is a 3D Scanner app that uses the ToF camera to create a 3D model of the real-world objects.

As mentioned earlier, this new 3D scanner app uses the ToF camera of the Galaxy Note 10+ to scan and create a 3D model of real-world objects. Since the Galaxy S10 5G and the Galaxy A80 also have ToF cameras, they should support the app as well.

The 3D Scanner app is now available to download on Samsung’s Galaxy Store. You can either search for this app on the store or you can get it for yourself by clicking this link on your phone. Once you download and install this app on your smartphone, you can simply launch it as you launch normal apps. Also, you can launch the 3D scanner through Bixby Vision. Simply open the Camera app, tap on Bixby Vision, and then switch to the apps panel and you’ll see it.

To create a 3D model of any object using this link, you need to scan it from every angle and directions. Make sure not to scan any other things while scanning a particular object otherwise, it will also get there in the 3D model.

Samsung recommends you use this tool with objects sized between 20 to 80 cms. Once you have your 3D model, you can make a GIF out of it to directly share it with others, or add the model to photos and videos you captured with the phone’s camera.
