Samsung Re-launches Galaxy Fold on September 6


The wait is finally over as the South Korean giant has officially announced the re-launch date of its much-anticipated dual-screen foldable smartphone, Samsung Galaxy Fold. Yes, Samsung has officially announced that the Galaxy Fold will go on sale in South Korea from September 6.

Furthermore, the company has also announced that after the successful launch of the smartphone in South Korea, they will make the smartphone available to more regions across the globe. The company has prepared a plan to launch this phone in France, Germany, Singapore, UK, US and more regions in the coming months.

Samsung has officially released a statement saying the company has refined the device and it will deliver the expected user interface to the new generation users.

Apart from this, the company has also disclosed that the Galaxy Fold will be 5G ready option. The phone will be sold with 5G modem in the countries where 5G connectivity is available.

Since the Galaxy Fold is a premium smartphone, the company has also introduced a new Galaxy Fold Premier Service. This new service is designed for the customers of Galaxy Fold smartphones. It will offer direct accesses and customer support to the owners.

There are no changes in terms of their features and specifications. The Galaxy Fold sports two different screens with a 4.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED cover display on the front and a 7.3-inch QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED tablet screen when unfold the device.

The device is powered by a 7nm Snapdragon 855 processor. It is backed by a 12 GB of RAM and comes with 512 GB of Memory Storage space as the default memory of the phone. It supports UFS 3.0 storage.

Since the phone features two different screens, there are two batteries included on the device to provide proper power. The battery capacity of the device is 4,380mAh.

The device runs on the latest Android 9.0 Pie Operating System along with Samsung’s One UI on top. You will get a lot of customizable options with the latest edition of Samsung’s One UI.

The phone to come with triple camera module on the back and a single sensor on the front for taking selfies and making video calls. The Primary Camera has a 12 Megapixel lens, 12 Megapixel Telephoto lens, 16 Megapixel Ultra-wide angle. And a 10 Megapixel of a selfie-shooter camera on the front.

Besides this, the company is already working on the second generation of Galaxy Fold smartphone. Since the launch of the Galaxy Fold is delayed due to issues, the company has already begun working on the new generation Galaxy Fold.
