Samsung Launched Galaxy J3 (2017) in US with Snapdragon 425 SoC


The Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) made its official debute today in the Unites Sates. The smartphone is now available from AT&T mobile operator online and in select stores, at $179.99 (approx. Rs 11,545) outright, or $6/month on installments.

Coming on specification, the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) comes with a 5-inch HD display with (720×1280 pixel) resolution and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor and offers 1.5 GB RAM and 16GB internal storage wichi can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. The handset measures 140.9 x 70.1 x 8.7 mm and weighs 147 grams.

As far is optics is concern, the Galaxy J3 (2017) sports a 5MP rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and 1080p video recording, on the front end there is a 2MP front facing camera with a f/2.2 aperture for taking selfies and video caht.

Besides, the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) backed with a removable 2600 mAh battery. Connectivity options of the phone include 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and Micro-USB port. The smartphone has Gyro, Accelerometer, Magnetic and Proximity sensors.
