Samsung Galaxy S9 tipped to Feature Front-facing Fingerprint sensor


Samsung Galaxy S9, the next generation flagship smartphone from the Korean giant has been already rumored on internet. A new leak suggests that the company has filed a patent in its home country.

According to the patent the upcoming company’s flagship, Samsung Galaxy S9 will feature a front mounted finger print scanner. The image included in the patent indicates there will be round cut at the bottom that’ll house the sensor.

This year’s Samsung’s flagship devices including Galaxy S8 and Note 8 came with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor which was considered as major design flaw and collect lots of criticism from design experts and bloggers.

Earlier it was rumored that the company is working on an under display fingerprint sensor, but it seems like the Samsung fails to achieved that breakthrough and plans to bring back the front mounted fingerprint sensor in upcoming Galaxy lineup.
