Samsung’s next flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ has already been surfaced several times over the internet. Now Samsung Galaxy S9 retail box has been leaked on Chinese microblogging site Weibo and leaked all of its specs.
As can be seen on the box, the Samsung Galaxy S9 will sport a 5.8” QHD+ Super AMOLED display and offers 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. In the camera department, it will equip with a 12MP super speed dual pixel camera with OIS and super slow motion feature. The box shows two aperture configuration (F/1.5 and F/2.4) so there could be a dual camera setup on the back. On the front, there will be an 8MP selfie camera.
From previous leaks, the Samsung Galaxy S9 is expected to come with Snapdragon 845 SoC for US and China, and Exynos 9810 processors for rest of the world. While to processor and battery capacity is not mentioned on the box, it will come loaded with Stereo speakers tuned by AKG. The device will be an IP86 water and dust resistant certified and has a wireless charging support, there is also iris scanner added to unlock the device.
Samsung is also rumored to include an “In-Screen Fingerprint Sensor” in the Galaxy S9 lineup. Recently we have heard Samsung is among five manufacturers that are working with Synaptics, which has announced the world’s first under-glass fingerprint chip to go on mass production. Samsung has also announced the world’s first 512GB eUFS storage chips that should appear on the next phones as well.
