Samsung Galaxy S21 series may launch on January 14

A couple of weeks ago, it was claimed that Samsung is going to prepone the launch of its next Galaxy flagship smartphone series — allegedly called Galaxy S21. However, now a launch date has been tipped.
Known Apple tipster, Jon Prosser has taken to Twitter to claim that the South Korean tech giant is going to launch three handsets — Samsung Galaxy S21, S21+, S21 Ultra — early next year. As per Prosser, the Galaxy Unpacked event, where the company will be unveiling these is set to be January 14. On the same day, these models are expected to become available through pre-order.
Approximately two weeks after that, on January 29, these handsets are claimed to go on sale.

The tweet also mentions six colour options, Black, White, Grey, Silver, Violet and Pink, although doesn’t specify whether all three smartphones will be available in all these colours or not.
Just last month, it was reported by Android Central that the Galaxy S21 smartphone series has entered mass production and could launch in January next year. That report too claimed that the company is working on launching a standard version, a Plus version and an Ultra version.
As a first, the company may offer the support for S-Pen for the Ultra variant of Samsung Galaxy S21. However, it will not have a dedicated slot for the S-Pen, like it is there on the Note 20, claimed the report.
