NEW DELHI: South Korean tech giant Samsung is gearing up for the launch of its next-generation S-series smartphone. The company is working on its next flagship smartphone, rumoured to be called Samsung Galaxy S21. As reported by Android Central, the smartphone has entered mass production and could launch in January next year.
Along with this, some new renders of the yet to launch smartphone also surfaced online. As per the render images, the smartphone will come with the same camera bump as its predecessor the Galaxy S20. As per the leakster Steve Hemmerstoffer of OnLeaks, the Samsung Galaxy S21/Galaxy S30 will have a 6.2-inch display for the standard model. The smartphone will come with a flat display and will house a punch-hole front-facing camera. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S30 Ultra will come with a curved display measuring between 6.7 and 6.9 inches. The leak doesn’t offer any information about the internal specs of the upcoming smartphones.
The report by Android Central reveals that three Galaxy S smartphones are expected to launch in January. The company is expected to launch a standard version, a Plus version and an Ultra version. The Ultra variant of Samsung Galaxy S21 is said to come with an S-Pen. However, the smartphone will not have a dedicated slot for the S-Pen. The camera bump on the Ultra variant looks twice larger in comparison to the standard model. The company might include a quad-rear camera setup in the smartphone. It is also said that the Ultra variant of the smartphone will include a wide and ultra-wide lens plus a telephoto or periscope lens. The flash will be included in the camera bump of the Ultra variant.
