Samsung recently announced its latest Galaxy Note 20 series smartphones running the latest version of One UI 2.5 and soon after its launch, the company rolled out the update for Galaxy S20 series phones. Now, according to a recent report by SamMobile, Samsung has started the roll out of the One UI 2.5 update for Galaxy S10 series smartphones.
According to the report, the company is currently sending the update in Germany and it has a download size of around 1GB. The One UI 2.5 update for Galaxy S10 has the firmware version carries the firmware version G973FXXU8DTH7, while the firmware versions for Galaxy S10+ and Galaxy S10e is 970FXXU8DTH7 and G975FXXU8DTH7, respectively.
The new software version brings several new features from the flagship Galaxy Note 20 series smartphones along with the September 2020 Android Security Patch. The feature list includes wireless Dex feature, Pro Video mode in camera app, Wi-Fi password sharing feature, keyboard search feature in keyboard app and more.
The wireless Dex mode allows users to mirror their smartphone screen with compatible TVs or devices in a PC-like user interface. The update also added a dedicated quick toggle to turn on or off the mode and also use the smartphone as the trackpad and keyboard.
The Pro Video mode in camera app allows users to control the several aspects of video such as shutter speed, exposure, resolution, microphone selection and more.
Samsung has also brought the bitmoji sticker support for AOD display, split keyboard in landscape mode, pre-defined SOS messages and several other improvements.
