Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite, Galaxy Note 10 Lite With Triple Rear Cameras, Infinity-O Display Launched: Price, Specifications
Samsung has finally announced two of its much-speculated smartphones Galaxy Note 10 Lite and Galaxy S10 Lite. The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy Note 10 Lite is the lighter version of Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10 respectively. The company unveiled both of these smartphones just before the starting of CES 2020. Since both of these phones are a lighter version of the standard edition, most of the specs of the Lite edition is similar to that of the standard edition.
Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite – Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite looks similar to that of Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite from the front but has a different camera module placement. It sports a 6.7-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) Infinity-O Super AMOLED display with a pixel density of 394ppi.
Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite is powered by an octa-core 64-bit 7nm octa-core processor that has a maximum clock speed of 2.8GHz. As of now, the company didn’t announce whether the Galaxy S10 Lite will be powered by an Exynos chip or Qualcomm chip. However, it is expected that the Galaxy S10 Lite will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 SoC.
On the other hand, the Galaxy S10 Lite will come with up to 8GB of RAM. Additionally, it will also pack 128GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded up to 1TB via an external MicroSD card.
In the camera department, the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite features a triple rear camera module that includes a 48-megapixel main shooter with an f/2.0 lens and Super Steady OIS for stabilization. Samsung says the Super Steady OIS feature works in tandem with Super Steady mode in the camera app to negate hand movements for delivering smoother and blur-free videos. It is accompanied by a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture and 123-degree field of view. There is also a 5-megapixel macro camera with an f/2.4 lens for clicking close-up photos. At the front, there is a 32-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.2 lens.
Apart from this, Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite runs on the latest Android 10. The Galaxy S10 Lite packs a 4,500mAh battery with Super Fast charging support. The phone comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication, but the front camera also supports face unlock.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite – Specifications
Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite comes packed with 6.7-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) Infinity-O Super AMOLED display with a pixel density of 394ppi. Since this is one of the smartphones from the Galaxy Note series, it comes with the S Pen stylus, which links via Bluetooth Low-Energy (BLE standard) and offers the usual set of features such as multimedia control, clicking a picture, and Air Commands.
Under the hood, the smartphones is powered by a 10nm octa-core processor in which four cores are clocked at 2.7GHz, while the other four tick at 1.7GHz. Samsung has not specified the make of the processor, but leaks suggest that the phone will come equipped with the in-house Exynos 9810.
On the other hand, the Galaxy Note 10 Lite will come with up to 8GB of RAM. Additionally, it will also pack 128GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded up to 1TB via an external microSD card.
In the imaging department, the Galaxy Note 10 Lite comes equipped with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 2-megapixel sensor with Dual Pixel autofocus, an f/1.7 lens, and OIS. It is accompanied by a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with an f/2.4 aperture and OIS for stabilization. On the front is a 32-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture to take care of selfies and video calls.
Apart from this, the Galaxy Note 10 Lite runs on the latest Android 10. It comes equipped with a 4,500mAh battery with support for the proprietary Super Fast charging technology. The phone also features an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite, Galaxy S10 Lite Price and Availability
As of now, Samsung didn’t announce the price and availability of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite as well as of Galaxy S10 Lite. However, both of these phones will be made available in two variants – 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage.
The Galaxy Note 10 Lite will be available in Aura Glow, Aura Black, and Aura Red color options. On the other hand, the Galaxy S10 Lite will be available in Prism White, Prism Black, and Prism Blue color options. More details on the pricing and availability of these phones will be revealed at the CES 2020 which starts from January 7.
