NEW DELHI: Consumer electronics giant Samsung is reportedly planning to launch its latest M series smartphone in India. Recently, a Samsung smartphone with model number SM-025F/DS received certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards. Likely to be called Samsung Galaxy M02, the smartphone is expected to launch in India soon.
As per the listing on Bureau of Indian Standards, the smartphone may come with dual SIM functionality. The Samsung Galaxy M02 is said to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor.
The handset is said to pack 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. The smartphone is also expected to come with microSD card support. The device is expected to run Android 10 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of customisation.
Samsung Galaxy M02 may sport a triple rear camera setup and said to be backed by a 4000mAh battery.
Meanwhile, Samsung slashed the price of its recently launched big battery smartphone — Galaxy M51. The smartphone has got a price cut of Rs 2,000. The Samsung Galaxy M51 comes in two variants — 6GB RAM and 128GB and 8GB RAM and 128GB. Samsung has slashed the price of both variants.
After the price cut, customers can purchase the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant at Rs 22,999 and the 8GB RAM and 128GB variant at Rs 24,999. The highlight of Samsung Galaxy M51 is its 7000 mAh battery and reverse charging capability.
