On Wednesday, Samsung has launched the two new ‘J’ series smartphones in India, Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro and Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, the price of new phones are Rs. 20,900 and Rs. 17,900 respectively. In terms of availability the Samsung Galaxy J7 Max going on sale from June 20 while the Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro will be made available sometime in mid-July, both will come in Gold and Black colour options. And will be available via both offline and online retail channels.
The company is offering 120GB 4G data of Reliance Jio with the purchase of Galaxy J7 pro and Galaxy J7 Max which can be avail as extra 10GB per month over the period of one year with your monthly recharge. Samsung is also offering up to Rs 800 cashback on payments made using Pay Mini on the new smartphones.
One of the major highlight of Galaxy J7 pro and Galaxy J7 Max is ‘Pay mini’ which is the lite version of Samsung Pay, which is available on flagship devices like the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. Pay Mini is designed to work on affordable devices that do not have NFC feature. The Pay mini feature works with mobile wallets and payment services such as Paytm and UPI, it doesn’t work with regular swiping machines for ’tap and pay’ offline payments.
Coming on Design, The Galaxy J7 Pro and Galaxy J7 Max sport a slim metal uni-body design with no bezel on the left and right edges. At the back, the antenna bands have been given an interesting design, There is a Home Button in the front embedded with the fingerprint scanner. The volume keys are on the left edge while the power button housed on the right edge of the smartphones.
