Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo Listed on the Official Website Ahead of Launch


The Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo is had already surfaced in various leaks and rumors. The smartphone is expected to launch in India soon as the device has been listed on the official Samsung’s official website along with some of its specifications. Yesterday, GSMArena had also leaked an image from the sales training session of the Galaxy J7 Duo which gives an insight into the specifications.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo will be the first ‘J’ series mid-range device with dual rear cameras and Bixby support to launch in India. Talking about specifications, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo runs on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system with Samsung Experience 9.0 UI on top. It sports a 5.5” HD (1280 x 720 pixels) Super AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass on top of it. The smartphone is powered by an unspecified 1.59 GHz processor, but earlier benchmark listing mentioned Exynos 7885 SoC. It offers 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.

For photography, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo comes equipped with a dual rear camera setup with a combination of a 13MP primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture and 5MP secondary sensor along with LED flash. It offers features like Live Focus bokeh shots and FHD (1920 x 1080)@30fps video recording. On the front, it has an 8MP shooter f/1.9 aperture for selfies and video calls.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo is fueled by a 3000mAh removable battery. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM support, G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth v5, GPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type 2.0 port. Sensors on the board include Accelerometer, Fingerprint Sensor, and Proximity Sensor. It measures 153.5 x 77.2 x 8.2 mm and weight 174 grams.
