Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) is now official in Europe


After over a month of official launch, the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) is now official in Europe. The smartphone is listed on company’s Austrian website. The listing reveals color options including gold, black, and blue. It also reveals that the phone will be available in dual-SIM variant.

Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) is already available in the United States since May. It was expected to land in Europe sometime in August, but it looks like some countries will get it much earlier. While there’s currently no official information on the phone’s pricing in Europe, it’s expected to cost around €220.

To recall the specification, the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) comes with a 5-” HD display with (720×1280 pixel) resolution and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor and offers 1.5 GB RAM and 16GB internal storage which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. The handset measures 140.9 x 70.1 x 8.7 mm and weighs 147 grams.

As far is optics is concern, the Galaxy J3 (2017) sports a 5MP rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and 1080p video recording, on the front end there is a 2MP front facing camera with a f/2.2 aperture for taking selfies and video chat.

Besides, the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) backed with a removable 2600 mAh battery. Connectivity options of the phone include 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and Micro-USB port. The smartphone has Gyro, Accelerometer, Magnetic and Proximity sensors.
