Samsung has launched the 5G models of Samsung Galaxy A71 and Galaxy A51smartphones in the US. Earlier before, Samsung has launched the LTE version of both of these smartphones in India, and now, the company launches a 5G model of these phones in the US. Well, most of the specs of these phones are similar to the LTE models that were launched earlier. However, some of the specs of the phone have been adjusted for the 5G connectivity.

Samsung Galaxy A71 5G Specifications

As for the specs, the 5G model of Samsung Galaxy A71 comes with a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display. It features a center-aligned punch-hole display similar to the LTE model of the phone. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Under the hood, this phone is powered by an unnamed octa-core processor which consists of two cores with 2.2GHz clock speed and the rest six cores with 1.8GHz clock speed. Since this is a 5G model, we can expect to see a chip with an integrated 5G modem. As per our expectations, it could likely be the Snapdragon 765G SoC, but Samsung hasn’t mentioned anything related to that.

Furthermore, the chipset is coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of onboard storage which can be further expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card.

In the camera department, the Samsung Galaxy A71 sports a quad-rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens and a 12-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens. It also includes a 5-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.2 lens and a 5-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 macro lens. At the front, this phone features a 32-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.2 lens that sits inside the hole-punch.

Apart from this, the Samsung Galaxy A71 5G runs on the latest version of Android 10 with One UI 2.1 at the top. Connectivity options on this phone include dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5, NFC, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos sound. Last but not the least, Galaxy A71 5G is fuelled by a massive 4,500mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging.

Samsung Galaxy A51 5G Specifications

Coming to the Galaxy A51 5G, it features a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) Infinity-O Display with an in-display fingerprint sensor. It also comes with a center-aligned punch-hole display.

At the front, there is a 32-megapixel selfie camera sensor with an f/2.2 lens.

Apart from this, Samsung Galaxy A51 5G runs on the latest Android 10 with OneUI 2.1 at the top. Connectivity options on this phone include dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5, NFC, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos sound. Just like Galaxy A71, it is also fuelled by the same 4,500mAh battery that comes with 15W fast charging support.

Samsung Galaxy A71 5G, Galaxy A51 5G Price and Availability

As for the price, the Samsung Galaxy A71 5G price starts at $599.99 (approx Rs. 45,800), while the Samsung Galaxy A51 5G is priced starting at $499.99 (approx Rs. 38,100).

As for the availability, both of these phones will go on sale in the US in summer 2020. The Samsung Galaxy A51 5G will be available in Prism Cube Black, Prism Cube White, and Prism Cube Pink color options. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy A71 5G will be available in Prism Cube Black, Prism Cube Silver, and Prism Cube Blue color options.
