Samsung – one of the leading TV manufacturers, has launched its new smart TVs in India. This time, the company launched an affordable smart TV to take on companies like Xiaomi and Vu, who have already established themselves in this affordable price range. To target the affordable television segment in India, the company has presented its new ‘Funbelievable’ series. With prices starting from Rs. 12,990, the latest television range will be going to give a tough fight to Xiaomi and Vu’s growing footprint in the budget space.
Under this new ‘Funbeleiveable’ series, the company has launched two of its smart TVs. The first one in this series is the 32-inch smart TV, which will be available at a price tag of Rs 12,990. The second one is the 42-inch smart TV with an unannounced price tag. Both of these smart TVs come with a Personal Computer Mode, which adds certain computer features to the TV, a Content Guide for easy access to details of content available on various platforms, and a Music System, which allows the TV to be used to play music.
As of now, the company didn’t announce the specs of these smart TVs. However, the 32-inch variant is likely to come with HD-resolution (1280×720-pixels) screens, while the 43-inch option will have a full-HD (1920×1080 pixels) display. It will also come preloaded with a variety of online streaming platforms such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Zee5, Sony Liv, and Voot.
Apart from this, both the televisions ship with 2-years of warranty. Just like some of the company’s earlier launches, the new series will be available to buy at Samsung exclusive stores, multi-brand electronics retailers, and across major online platforms, including Samsung’s own India online store.
