With the beginning of 2020, we got to see several smartphone makers showing their smartphone design with a secondary display. In the same move, Samsung has now filed patent designs for smartphones having a secondary display.
This patent was first discovered by a tech enthusiast on Twitter @_the_tech_guy who shared these patent designs on its Twitter wall. The South Korean tech giant has filed two patent designs with a similar secondary display design.
Both of the patent designs are similar to each other but have different frame models. The first patent shows the boxish frame while the other patent design has curved edges. Both the patent shows a display with broad bezels at all the sides.
The secondary display is placed at the back panel of the phone which is placed in the middle of the back panel along with the rear camera module at the top. There appears to be a dual-rear camera setup at the back with an LED flashlight. The secondary display appears to be quite smaller than the primary display.
Apart from this, no other details have been displayed on the patent design. It must be noted that just like most of the patent designs there is no guarantee that this patent will turn out to a real device. So, we advise you to take this patent design as a grain of salt for now, until the company itself gives any confirmation related to that.
