Although it’s too soon to know how general audiences will respond, the film’s middling Rotten Tomatoes score and subpar CGI have not instilled hope in fans. As a result, superhero fatigue is back on the table.
Some have noted that the type of all-CGI action seen in The Flash might be better suited for artificial intelligence than human audiences. Others feel sympathy for the film, as it has the bad luck of being compared to the acclaimed Spider-Verse sequel.
