Revealed: Exoprimal Roadmap and Battlepass

During the recent Capcom Showcase livestream, Exoprimal received some exciting updates, including a new trailer and various rewards for pre-ordering and purchasing the deluxe edition of the game. Set to release on July 14th, Exoprimal is Capcom’s latest venture into the live service space, which has garnered its own following of dinosaur hunters after a successful open beta period and continuous marketing efforts.

For those who pre-order Exoprimal, they’ll receive three skins for the Witchdoctor, Deadeye, and Roadblock exosuits. Meanwhile, the deluxe edition includes the base game, the Head Start kit, and the premium season 1 battle pass, providing players with even more exosuit skins and early unlock tickets. The premium battle pass offers 19 exosuit skins, 10 weapon skins, 3 decals, 4 emotes, 2 stamps, 10 player tag emblems, and a player tag background, giving players plenty of content to explore. While the free battle pass also offers rewards, the premium pass clearly boasts a much greater range of prizes for those willing to spend the extra cash.

Of course, it remains to be seen whether Exoprimal will be successful in the overcrowded live service market. However, with the microtransaction model, it doesn’t necessarily require a massive audience to keep the game afloat. Plus, Exoprimal offers a distinct vibe from many of the current multiplayer cooperative shooters, which could make it stand out among the competition. Furthermore, it’s worth noting that the game is available on Game Pass, which could draw in even more players.

Overall, Exoprimal shows promise as a unique entry in the live service space, but whether it will find success remains to be seen. Are you planning to dive into Exoprimal next month, or are you giving it a hard pass? Let us know in the comments below!
