Redmi K30 Pro, Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition With Quad Rear Cameras, Snapdragon 865 SoC Launched: Price, Specifications
Xiaomi has finally launched its latest flagship phone – Redmi K30 Pro. It comes as a top-variant of Redmi K30, which was launched earlier in December in 4G and 5G variants. The new Redmi K30 Pro comes with the latest and high-end specs and hardware. Key specifications of new Redmi K30 Pro include Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 SoC, the more efficient LPDDR5 RAM, support for 33W fast charging, and vapor chamber cooling, among others.
Xiaomi has also launched a new Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition along with the Redmi K30 Pro. The Zoom Edition comes with the same specs as that of the Pro variant but has some changes in the optical department to make it perfect for buyers who want excessive zoom capabilities on their phones. Redmi K30 Pro Specifications
The new Redmi K30 Pro sports a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1080 x 2400) HDR10+ AMOLED display with 1,200 nits of peak brightness, 20:9 aspect ratio, and 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio.
Under the hood, this phone is powered by top-of-the-line Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC that features four cores clocked at 1.8GHz, one core clocked at 2.84GHz, and three cores clocked at 2.42GHz. The processor is coupled with up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM. In terms of storage, it comes with up to 256GB UFS 3.1 inbuilt storage for media and storage. This must be noted that the 6GB + 128GB variant of Redmi K30 Pro comes with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.0 storage.
In the camera department, the Redmi K30 Pro features a quad-rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 sensor backed by OIS. It is assisted by a 5-megapixel macro camera, a 13-megapixel wide-angle snapper that offers a 123-degree field of view, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There comes the difference between the Zoom and Pro Edition.
The Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition features the same quad-rear camera setup that has the same 64-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 13-megapixel wide-angle snapper. However, it replaces the macro camera with an 8-megapixel telephoto lens that offers 3X optical zoom and 30X digital zoom. At the front, there is a 20-megapixel pop-up camera, which is the same for both the phones.
Apart from this, the Redmi K30 Pro runs on the latest Android 10 with MIUI 11 at the top. Connectivity options on the phone include dual-mode 5G (NSA+SA), Wi-Fi 6, NFC, USB Type-C port, NFC, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Last but not least, both of these phones are fuelled by the same 4,700mAh battery, which comes with support for 33W fast charging.
Redmi K30 Pro, Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Price, and Availability
As for the price, the Redmi K30 Pro starts at CNY 2,999 (approx Rs. 32,500) for the base 6GB + 128GB variant, while the 8GB + 128GB model will set buyers back by 3,399 CNY (approx Rs. 36,000). The top-end 8GB + 256GB version of the Redmi K30 Pro costs CNY 3,699 (approx Rs. 40,000).
As for the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition, it carries a price tag of CNY 3,799 (approx Rs. 41,000) for the 8GB + 128GB model, while the 8GB + 256GB version will cost CNY 3,999 (approx Rs. 43,000).
As for the availability, both of these phones will be available in three color options – Moonlight White, Sky Blue, Star Ring Purple, and Space Gray color options. They will be going on sale starting March 27 in China. As of now, the company didn’t utter a word on the International availability of these phones.
