Realme X50 Pro Player Edition with Snapdragon 865 SoC, 4,200mAh Battery Launched: Price, Specifications


Realme has made its latest flagship,  Realme X50 Pro Player Edition official in China which was being teased from the past few days. The company launched this handset along with other multiple devices in China. The X50 Pro Player is a gaming-centric version of Realme X50 Pro which was earlier launched. Let’s take a closer look at the phone.

Realme X50 Pro Player Specifications

The newly launched Realme X50 Pro Player comes with a 6.44-inch AMOLED display that supports Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. There is a dual punch-hole at the upper-left corner of the device.

Under the hood, the smartphone comes with is powered by top-of-the-line Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, paired with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM. As for the storage, the phone will comes with 128GB of UFS  3.0 storage. The phone now comes with HyperBoost 3.0 that allocates all the memory, chipset, and battery power to increase the gaming experience. HyperBoost 3.0 will block all redundant notifications, background-running apps, while the location services are turned off.

HyperBoost 3.0 will also switch between Wi-Fi to LTE or 5G with zero lag, whichever is quickest, so there is no drop in performance of the online gaming. Realme CMO also introduced the X50 Pro Player cooling capabilities – it will have graphite sheets between the battery and the back panel to help dissipate the heat and provide optimal gaming.

In the imaging department, the Realme X50 Pro Player sports a quad-rear camera setup that includes a 48 primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter, 12-megapixel telephoto shooter, and a 2-megapixel portrait camera. At the front, it features a dual-punch camera setup that includes a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor.

Apart from this, the phone is running on the latest Android 10 OS with Realme UI at the top. Lastly, the phone is backed up by a 4,200mAh battery with 65WSuper Dart support. The company claims that the phone can go from 0% to 100% in 35 minutes, while the phone can be up and running and provide an hour of calls just after three minutes of charging.

Realme X50 Pro Player Price and Availability

As for the price, the 6/128 GB variant of Realme X50 Pro Player will cost CNY2,699 ($380/€350), 8/128 GB version is CNY2,999 ($420/€385), and the 12/128 GB is CNY3,299 ($460/€425). The phone will be available in Light Speed Silver and Phantom Black color options. Pre-order will open later today, with the first flash sale scheduled for June 1.
