Realme X Confirmed to Launch on May 15


Realme is all set to relaunch its brand in China with an announcement of its upcoming smartphone i.e. the new Realme X. Today, the company has officially confirmed that they are launching the much awaited Realme X smartphone on May 15 in China.

Until now, we have received plenty of leaks and rumours of the upcoming smartphone from Realme. However, today the company itself has confirmed the launch of this phone. Along with the Realme X smartphone, the company will also launch the Realme X Youth Edition in the market. This would be the Realme 3 Pro smartphone with a different name for the Chinses market.

According to Realme’s official Weibo handle, the company will start selling these phones from May 15. They have held a launch event in the Chinese Capital where these two new Realme devices will be debuting.

After going through the previous leaks and rumours, we have gathered the expected features and specifications on the upcoming Realme X smartphone.

According to previous leaks, the Realme X smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 733 Soc. The device to come with an in-display Fingerprint Sensor.

Talking about the Camera-setup, the Realme X smartphone will feature a 48 Megapixel of the rear camera as Primary Camera which will be accompanied by a 5 Megapixel of camera. Support for VOOC 3.0 fast charging has been rumoured as well. The display will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

If we talk about the variants, the Realme X smartphone will have three different variants. 6GB RAM with 64GB Memory Storage, 6GB RAM with 128GB of Storage and 8GB RAM with 128GB of Memory Storage. Fortunately, we have also received a price list of these three variants of the Realme X smartphone. Let’s take a look on to the pricing.

Apart from this, the company will also launch the Realme X Pro smartphone. The Realme X Pro smartphone would be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 SoC. More information about these phones will soon be revealed as the company is officially unveiling them on May 14.
