Cisco and NVIDIA announced plans to deliver AI infrastructure solutions that are easy to deploy and manage, enabling the massive computing power needed for successful AI efforts. Over the years, the two companies have collaborated in other areas, such as improving worker collaboration via AI-powered meetings and virtual desktop infrastructure. Now, they are deepening their partnership in the data center to help businesses scale and automate AI cluster management, automate troubleshooting, and more. The Cisco and NVIDIA Integrated Data Center Solutions include:

• NVIDIA’s newest Tensor Core GPUs are used in Cisco’s M7 generation of UCS rack and blade servers.
• NVIDIA AI Enterprise, which includes software frameworks, pre-trained models, and development tools, is now available on Cisco’s global price list.
• Jointly validated reference architectures through Cisco Validated Designs (CVDs), making it simple to deploy and manage AI clusters.
• Support for Cisco Networking Cloud to simplify AI infrastructure management and operations through both on-premises and cloud-based management with Cisco Nexus Dashboard and Cisco Intersight.
• Digital Experience Monitoring of AI workloads via ThousandEyes, which provides AI-driven insights and automated remediation of problems that occur anywhere across the cloud to on-premises networks.

BNY Mellon and Microsoft are joining forces to transform capital markets and the broader financial services industry. Using Microsoft Azure cloud and BNY Mellon’s extensive financial data and analytics capabilities, the platform will provide BNY Mellon’s buy-side and sell-side clients with a data management solution. As part of the expanded collaboration, the two companies will look to explore how artificial intelligence technologies can be incorporated for improved productivity and better-informed decision making.

Acceldata announced an AI technology that enables DataOps teams to deliver advanced, AI-assisted data observability that adapts to their unique business context. Acceldata’s technology provides enterprises with the ability to tailor AI for Data Observability to their unique technical environment and business scenarios. This includes providing desired guardrails that ensure that business context, regulatory requirements, and the proper balance of human oversight with AI autonomy are taken into consideration.

Amplitude announced the expansion of its Digital Analytics Platform to include Session Replay, new experimentation capabilities, and simplified event tagging. With Session Replay, Amplitude now combines qualitative and quantitative data to help companies understand the “why” behind user behavior. New Experiment capabilities help teams build more personalized websites and campaigns. Visual tag editor lowers the barrier to entry for companies getting started with data collection and instrumentation.

Azul announced that it is now offering select products on the AWS and Google Cloud marketplaces, making it easier for customers to procure Azul products. Azul’s cloud marketplace products include Azul Platform Core and Azul Platform Prime. With Platform Core, customers receive secure and stable builds of OpenJDK – a drop-in replacement for Oracle Java SE – that includes 24/7 support. Azul Platform Prime is a Java development and runtime platform that optimizes the performance, scalability, and responsiveness of an organization’s Java applications and services, and cuts infrastructure and cloud costs.

ConnectWise announced it has made advancements in its Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solution and ConnectWise Sidekick, both of which leverage workflows, bots, and artificial intelligence (AI) within the ConnectWise Asio platform. Specifically, ConnectWise RPA and ConnectWise Sidekick are designed to enable greater automation, enhance efficiency, and accelerate business growth for Managed Service Providers. By incorporating RPA options and AI functionality for technicians and seamlessly integrating them within the Asio Platform, providers can optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and generate additional revenue by implementing a fee structure that is not reliant on labor expenses.

DH2i announced the general availability (GA) launch of DxOperator, which is aimed at improving Kubernetes and SQL Server integration. The solution was developed from the ground up by DH2i in collaboration with the Microsoft SQL Server team. It is designed to automate the deployment of DxEnterprise clusters and streamline the orchestration of Microsoft SQL Server availability group (AG) workloads within Kubernetes environments. It includes features like custom pod naming, node selection and affinity, SQL AG customization, and load balancing needed in production environments.

Fortanix announced that it joined more than 200 other artificial intelligence (AI) stakeholders to participate in a Department of Commerce initiative to support the development and deployment of safe and trustworthy AI. Established by the Department of Commerce’s National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), the U.S. AI Safety Institute Consortium (AISIC) will bring together AI creators and users, academics, government and industry researchers, and civil society organizations to meet this mission.

Galileo announced the launch of its latest groundbreaking Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) & Agent Analytics solution. The offering is meant to help businesses speed the development of more explainable and trustworthy AI solutions. To that end, the solution is designed to dramatically streamline the process of evaluating, experimenting with, and observing RAG systems.

Gulp Data announced a new partnership with Snowflake. Through the partnership, companies can easily determine the market value of their data within 24 hours by accessing Gulp Data’s data valuation app on Snowflake Marketplace. With Snowflake Native Apps as its foundation, Gulp Data’s app insights can be leveraged directly within a customer’s Snowflake account, running directly on customers’ data without the need to move or provide external access to that data.

HighByte announced the release of HighByte Intelligence Hub version 3.3, which offers new and improved interoperability with industry-leading cloud services, including the Snowflake Data Cloud and AWS IoT SiteWise. The latest release introduces two new native connectors for Snowflake. The first new connector, Snowflake Streaming, utilizes the Snowflake Snowpipe Streaming API. The second new connector, Snowflake SQL, enables HighByte Intelligence Hub users to query Snowflake tables directly.

KnowledgeLake introduced new zero-shot classification and extraction capabilities. As part of the new Lake Aurora release, KnowledgeLake has pioneered what it calls Intuitive AI to enable organizations to automatically classify and extract data from documents without explicit, time-consuming training. The solution eliminates the need for pre-defined rules and configurations, creating a system that is able to intelligently adapt and discern information in documents right out of the gate. Users don’t have to direct the platform as to how to go in and extract value from pages. The system understands the semantics and context of different documents and can interpret data on its own – without ever seeing any examples.

Protect AI announced it has acquired Laiyer AI. With the acquisition, Protect AI will be offering a commercial version of Laiyer AI’s open-source LLM Guard with expanded features, capabilities, and integrations within the Protect AI platform. (LLM Guard is an open-source project for protecting large language models (LLMs) against security threats, misuse, and prompt injection attacks while also providing tools to manage risk and compliance needs.)

Semarchy announced the launch of its Acceleration Toolkit. This toolkit helps organizations build the business case for master data management (MDM), increases adoption and confidence, and accelerates time-to-value. The toolkit includes a rapid MDM business case to build an ROI assessment to justify MDM investment, accelerator models for specific industries and use cases to accelerate application development, educational assets for customers to explore Semarchy’s AI/ML roadmap and integrate capabilities like GPT-3, and a rapid delivery blueprint that offers a step-by-step guide to quickly deploy MDM based on Semarchy’s proven best practices and methodology.

SQream announced a strategic integration with Dataiku. The collaboration brings together SQream’s big data analytics technology with Dataiku’s flexible and scalable data science and machine learning (ML) platform. This collaboration between the two offers a comprehensive solution for efficiently generating big data analytics and business insights. To that point, users can now harness SQream’s analytics capabilities within the flexible and governed Dataiku environment.

Sylabs announced the release of SingularityCE 4.1.0, the newest iteration of its container solution optimized for high-performance computing environments, including AI/ML, large-scale data projects, and Edge computing. This release enhances user autonomy, ensuring robust security and fostering seamless Open Container Initiative (OCI) cross-compatibility. Specifically, the update introduces the capability to build OCI-SIF images from Dockerfiles directly, significantly bridging the gap between traditional Docker container workflows and Singularity’s advanced HPC-focused environment.

Weaviate announced an integration with Snowflake’s Snowpark Container Services (currently in public preview). Snowflake customers can now run Weaviate inside Snowflake with Snowpark Container Services. With Weaviate and Snowflake, enterprises can leverage the latest innovations in AI without compromising the security of their data. Deployment within Snowpark Container Services ensures that all data operations, including embeddings and vector searches, are performed within the user’s secure environment.
