Read Elon Musk’s email to Tesla employees on asking them to work harder than ever

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has urged employees to deliver record number of cars in this quarter. According to a report by CNBC, Musk sent an “All Hands on Deck” email to the employees, where he thanked the employees for their “excellent efforts.”
Tesla has been on a record-breaking spree when it comes to deliveries. As per the CNBC report, Tesla in the fourth quarter of 2018, delivered 1,12,000 vehicles. In the first quarter of 2020, the number of deliveries stood at 88,400 whereas in the second quarter the number jumped to 90,650 vehicles. The second quarter deliveries were impacted by the ongoing pandemic situation that hit demand as well as production of Tesla cars.Analysts have estimated Tesla to deliver close to 1,44,000 vehicles in the third quarter.
Musk, in his email, said that Tesla has a shot to create a record quarter for vehicle deliveries but employees will have to “rally hard” in order to do so. He also said that the factory output at Tesla must be as high as possible for the next 10 days. The quarter ends on September 30 and it will be interesting to see how many vehicles does Tesla manage to deliver before it ends. Here’s the email that Musk sent to all Tesla employees:

From: Elon Musk

To: Everybody

Date: September 20, 2020 [time: redacted]

Subj. All Hands On Deck!

We have a shot at a record quarter for vehicle deliveries, but will have to rally hard to achieve it. This is the most [sic] number of vehicles per day that we’ve ever had to deliver.

Please consider vehicle deliveries to be absolute top priority. It’s also extremely important that we keep factory output as high as possible over the remaining 10 days. This is vital for the California market.

Thanks for your most excellent efforts,
