ProtonMail is a known email provider for its advanced encrypted security. The same team of the ProtonMail today launches an advanced calendar app called ‘ProtonCalendar’. The company has launched its new calendar in Public Beta before its final version.

The aim behind the company is to offer fully secured emailing platform. This is indeed a great alternative to Google’s existing Calendar app. We already have heard about the company’s plan to launch a new emailing service with encryption. Starting from today, the ProtonMail’s ProtonCalendar is made available with its beta version.

If you are a Proton user and opted for its premium services, then you can start using the all-new ProtonCalendar app from now. The new Calendar app will be open to all with its final stable version which is planned to launch in the first half of the new year, no exact launch dates were provided by the company during the announcement of its beta version.

Google Calendar is undoubtedly the best Calendar app which is widely used by millions of mobile users across the globe. The company has decided to come up with an alternative with even more advanced security than Google’s Calendar app.

If we talk about the other services of the company, ProtonMail is also globally popular with its 20 Million+ users. When they made this new Calendar app available, all the users will be able to use it as it will come with auto-sync feature just like Google Calendar and Google Mail. So the things will become more smoother.

According to the information that we have, the new ProtonCalendar app will have different categories with a unique set of permissions for the users. The actions in the Calendar will be digitally signed by the users and will ask for their permissions. Users who have multiple IDs will have a unique PGP Key. The PGP Key is itself symmetrically encrypted with a 32-bit passphrase. This is what makes its service secured and private.

All the actions done by the users will be tracked and there will be no silent actions allowed. We will let you know more about this new Calendar app later.
