Niantic is going to push a new type of event in the Pokemon Go this weekend. Until now, they have pushed many events and monthly community days, this time Niantic is going to reveal a Limited Research event which will start on January 19 and will last for only three hours. The starting time of this event varies in accordance to regions.
During this event limited time event, trainers will have an opportunity to catch a shiny Feebas Pokemon by completing special research tasks. These special research tasks can be gained by spinning the PhotoDisc at PokeStop. After obtaining these special research tasks, you can complete in any time during this event. But don’t forget to complete them within the event period as after that you might miss the opportunity to catch a Shiny Feebas. Also, you will get the next task each time you visit to a new PokeStop, so, complete your tasks fastly to get your new Pokemon. And one more thing, be sure to complete your task within the time frame, so that you can collect the next task and increase your chance to catch Feebas.
Apart from this event, Niantic is also running a Big Hoenn Celebration now which will run until January 29. During this period, you’ll get an opportunity to catch Gen 3 Pokemon. Players can catch shiny Pokemons including Zigzagoon and Taillow. So overall, this Limited Research Event is an golden opportunity for players to catch some rare Pokemons. Meanwhile, they can also collect some other from the running Big Hoenn Celebration.
