If you are a big fan of the popular VR-based game, Pokemon Go than here’s something special announced by the makers of the game. Yes, the makers have announced Pokemon Go’s January 2020 Event officially. Most of the upcoming plans for the month of January has been announced and we got to know about what we will have in the game.

Starting from January 1st, players of the game will be able to explore the new things offered during the event period. The new event includes the return of the Legendary, the new Gen 5 Pokemon, a new research breakthrough reward and much more.

In the new month, there will be a new batch of Field Research Tasks that need to be completed by the players of the game. Whenever you achieve a Research Breakthrough in the January month, you will encounter a special Lapras with either Ice Shard or Ice Beam. The same special Lapras was provided in the last year to the gamers.

Additionally, there will be a new separate event going on from January 2nd to January 16. During this separate event, players will be able to encounter more of the stunning and highly useful items such as extra Stardust, Rare Candies, and an Unova Stone. All these items are very important to collect the future Pokemon i.e. Gen 5 Pokemon.

Apart from this, players will also be able to hatch and encounter Wild Pokemon. During the event, the Wild Pokemon will be wearing Party hats, they will be easily visible. This is the best chance for the players to encounter wild pokemon.

Moreover, the Legendary Pokemon Heatran is also set to return back to the gameplay during the event time. In five-star raids, you will be able to find the Lava Dome Pokemon. You can take part in the five-star raids from the 7th of January to the 4th of February. Surprisingly, the players will also be able to encounter the shiny forms of these Pokemon during the five-star raids so there will be more fun to play the game and encounter these rare Pokemon.
