Xiaomi’s Redmi K30 smartphone was recently launched in the Indian market as POCO X2. Since then, there are rumors that Xiaomi could launch the Redmi K30 Pro in the name of Poco F2. However, the company denied this report that Redmi K30 Pro will be launched as Poco F2.
But just after the confirmation from C Manmohan, General Manager of the POCO brand, rumors speculated that the Redmi K30 Pro will be launched as Poco F2 Pro in 2020. And now, ahead of the official launch from the company, the upcoming smartphone’s pricing details have leaked online.
According to a report by the Portuguese publication 4gnews, will not be limited to the Indian market and will also get launched in the European market. As per the report, the smartphone is expected to start at €649 in Portugal.
The report claims that the Poco F2 Pro will be launched in two variants – the 6GB RAM + 128GB variant which will be priced at EUR 649 (approx Rs. 53,300) and the 8GB RAM + 256GB variant which will be priced at EUR 749 (approx Rs. 61,600). However, the report adds that the pricing in other European regions will be lower than the pricing in Portugal because of the ‘private copy fee’ in the country.
The publication states that its source is ‘guaranteed ’ about the price detail, however, it didn’t share any details about the device or its specifications. Still, if the reports are true that the Redmi K30 Pro will be rebranded as Poco F2 Pro, this puts the speculated pricing of the phone quite a lot higher than the price for the Redmi K30 Pro.
