Picture-in-Picture Feature is Now Available with tvOS 13 Beta 2 for Apple TV

Apple has released a second developer update for the Apple TV with tvOS 13 Beta 2. The giant has quietly added the much-awaited Picture-in-Picture feature for the Apple TV users. On Monday, the giant has officially made this new update available for the users who have enrolled themselves with Apple’s Beta program.

This new Picture-in-Picture is a highly demanded feature which is now available with the latest update. This feature would allow the users to watch and explore the show continuously while exploring other apps and contents on Apple TV.

The same Picture-in-Picture mode was announced by Apple with iOS 9 for iPad users. The same PiP Mode is now available for the Apple TV users. If you are using an Apple TV and already enrolled with Apple’s Beta program, then you will be able to update the existing Apple’s tvOS to this latest OS which will bring this new Picture-in-Picture mode to the system.

This feature will be extremely useful for those who do multitasking while exploring their favourite shows. By now, you will not have to close down the show or video that you are currently watching through Apple TV. The existing video will go down and will be playing continuously in a thumbnail Window.

This was the major and noticeable feature added by Apple to the tvOS 13 Beta 2 update for the Apple TV users. Apart from this PiP mode, the giant has added a bunch of extra features and improvements to enhance the overall performance.

The entire home screen is now redesigned with a new colour and theme. You will feel like exploring a new platform once you update your device to the latest tvOS update.

tvOS 13 will also receive a new multi-user support allowing your family members to have a separate section for the recommendations and a separate channel to watch and explore contents independently.

This is indeed some good news for the users of Apple TV. Unfortunately, the release date of its final stable version is still not revealed. We will have to wait for the official announcement regarding the stable update of the tvOS 13.
