Grinding Gear Games has released an awe-inspiring gameplay trailer for the upcoming sequel, Path of Exile 2 – a free-to-play game that is a tough competitor to Diablo.
Despite the global launch of Diablo 4, many gamers are still excited about the launch of Path of Exile 2, which is expected to hit the market somewhere next year. Certainly, Diablo 4 is a promising title and a major upgrade from Diablo 3 launched in 2012. However, from the gameplay glimpses of Path of Exile 2, it is evident that this sequel, which follows the Path of Exile launched in 2013, is visually more appealing than Diablo 4. The recently released “Aggorat” gameplay trailer from PC Gaming Show bears testimony to this fact with its striking visuals.
Path of Exile 2, or POE2 as it is popularly called, will be presented for live play at Exilecon 2023 in New Zealand from July 29-30. The game was officially announced in 2019 and will feature seven new acts as well as an upgraded end-game that it will share with the original Path of Exile. It will have revamped game systems, art, and character classes, amongst other features.
A new musical score for Path of Exile 2 has also been created by internal composer Kamil Orman Janowski, who is immensely popular with Path of Exile players due to the exceptional quality of his music and personality.
