Panasonic P95 Launched in India with 5-inch HD display and Face Unlock for Rs. 4,999
Panasonic has today launched its latest budget smartphone dubbed as Panasonic P95 in India. the smartphone comes with the price tag of Rs. 3,999 and will be available to purchase exclusively on Flipkart Big Shopping Day sale starting from 13 May – 16 May 2018. The regular price of the phone is Rs. 4,999. It comes in Blue, Gold and Dark Grey colour options.
Talking about the specifications, the Panasonic P95 runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat operating system and sports a 5” HD (720 x 1280 pixels) Display. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor coupled with Adreno 304 GPU. It offers 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via micro SD card.
For photography, the Panasonic P95 comes with an 8MP rear camera with LED flash support for better lowlight capturing. It also features ‘zero shutter lag’, meaning images are captured without delay. It has a Professional mode that controls exposure and a red-eye reduction feature as well. On the front, it has a 5MP shooter for selfies and video calls. The front camera also comes equipped with facial recognition technology to unlock the device.
The Panasonic P95 is fueled by a 2300mAh battery. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM support, 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, FM radio, and micro USB 2.0 port. Sensors on board include Accelerometer, Proximity Sensor, and Ambient Light Sensor. It measures 141 x 70.5 x 7.95mm and weighs 164 grams.
The Panasonic P95 also comes with Smart lock features, the Smart Lock features are Trusted Face recognition and the Trusted Voice. The Smart Lock feature also adapts to trusted locations like car or home, Bluetooth devices and unlocks the phone for the user. With the On body detection feature, the phone remains unlocked as long as it’s in the user’s hand and locks itself as soon as they put it away.
