Oppo to showcase new technological advancements at Inno Day 2020 conference

NEW DELHI: Oppo is all set to hold its annual Inno Day conference. The company has scheduled the conference for November 17 in China, under the theme of ‘Leap into the future’. The company has announced that it will reveal its latest technologies and innovations at the event.
The event is scheduled to take place at 13.30 pm on November 17. The company will be live streaming the event on its official YouTube channel.
Tony Chen, OPPO Founder and CEO, as well as Levin Liu, OPPO vice president and Head of OPPO Research Institute will deliver keynote speeches to share updates about the company’s technology vision and business philosophy for the new era, and unveil three concept products.
First kicked off back in 2019, Oppo Inno Day has become a signature event for the company to share key technological insights whilst exploring the possibilities of future technology. Last year, OPPO put forward the idea of intelligent connectivity. This year, the concept is updated as the Internet of Experience.
Recently, it was reported that Oppo is working on its next smartphone series — Oppo Reno5. Rumours also suggest that the smartphone will come with 65W fast charging support.
This will be the first Reno series smartphone to come with 65W fast charging support.
The smartphone is also said to be powered by MediaTek high-end Dimensity 1000+ processor and pack 8GB of RAM. The handset is expected to run Android 11 out-of-the-box. Oppo Reno5 was also spotted on the benchmarking website — GeekBench recently. According to GeekBench, the Oppo Reno5 scored 2,932 in the single core test and 5,836 in the multi-core test.
The smartphone is also said to come in four colour options — Starry Dream, Aurora Blue, Moonlight Black and Star Wish Red.
