After a series of rumors and leaks, Oppo has finally launched its latest flagship smartphone series – Oppo Reno 4 and Oppo Reno 4 Pro. While Oppo Reno 4 is the base variant in the series, it comes with some superior specs over the Reno 4 Pro such as dual selfie cameras and a slightly larger battery. Key features of both of the phones include triple rear camera setup, Snapdragon 765G SoC, and is backed up by 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging support. Read on to get more details of the phones.

Oppo Reno 4 Specification

As for the specs, the newly launched Oppo Reno 4 comes with a 6.4-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with dual selfie hole-punch cutouts on the top left of the screen. The display also features a 90Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM. For media and storage, the Reno 4 comes with up to 256GB of storage.

In the camera department, the Oppo Reno 4 sports a triple-rear camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 2-megapixel monochromatic sensor. There is a laser detection autofocus lens as well on board. At the front, there is a dual hole-punch cutout with a 32-megapixel selfie camera and a secondary 2-megapixel selfie shooter.

Apart from this, the Oppo Reno 4 is running on the latest Android 10 with ColorOS 7.2 at the top. Connectivity options on the phone include Bluetooth, 5G, Wi-Fi, and a USB Type-C port. It also has an in-display fingerprint sensor. Lastly, the phone is backed up by a 4,020mAh battery with 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging support.

Oppo Reno 4 Pro Specifications

On the other hand, the Oppo Reno 4 Pro comes with a larger 6.5-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.

In the optics department, the Reno 4 Pro also sports a triple-rear camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 13-megapixel telephoto camera.  Just like Reno 4, it also has a laser detection autofocus lens. At the front, there is a single hole-punch display cutout with a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

Apart from this, the Oppo Reno 4 Pro also runs on the latest Android 10 with Color OS 7.2 at the top. It also features the same connectivity options as that of Reno 4 that includes Bluetooth, 5G, Wi-Fi, and a USB Type-C port. It also has an in-display fingerprint sensor. Lastly, the phone is backed up by a  4,000mAh battery with 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging support.

Oppo Reno 4, Reno 4 Pro Price and Availability

As for the price, the Oppo Reno 4 is priced at CNY 2,999 (approx Rs. 32,000) for the 8GB + 128GB storage option, and CNY 3,299 (approx Rs. 35,200) for the 8GB + 256GB storage option. Oppo Reno 4 will be available in three color options – Galactic Blue, Space Black, and Space White.

On the other hand, the Oppo Reno 4 Pro is priced at the CNY 3,799 (approx Rs. 40,500) for the 8GB + 128GB storage option and CNY 4,299 (approx Rs. 45,800) for the 12GB + 256GB storage option. The Oppo Reno 4 Pro is listed to come in Galactic Blue, Sparkling Red, Space Black, and Space White color options. There is also a Green Glitter variant that will be available only in the 12GB + 256GB storage option.

As for the availability, the Oppo Reno 4 is already up for pre-orders on the official site and will be going on sale starting June 12. On the other hand, the Oppo Reno 4 Pro is also up for pre-orders on the official site and will be going on its sale starting June 12. The 12GB + 256GB storage option variant will go on sale on June 18. 

The Chinese giant has confirmed that the Oppo Reno 4 Pro and Oppo Reno 4 phones will launch in India as well.
