The Oppo Reno 4 series appears to be launching soon in China as the company has already started teasing the phone via its official Weibo handle. The company has posted a short video of the phone showing off the back panel of OPPO Reno 4 in gradient blue color.
In addition to the short teaser of the phone, the official render of the phone also surfaced online showing off the phone from every possible angle. Starting from the front, the Redo 4 is seen sporting a punch-hole cutout at the top-left corner for the front camera housing. Furthermore, the Oppo Reno 4 is having slim bezels on all corners and a slightly curved display. Since there is no housing for a fingerprint scanner, we expect to see an in-display fingerprint sensor t will have an AMOLED panel.
At the back, the phone is seen sporting a triple rear camera setup module along with an LED flash and laser autofocus. Looking at the teaser and render of the phone, it seems like Reno 4 has a glass back panel. The volume rocker is on the left, while the power button is placed on the right spine. The bottom edge has the USB Type-C port, external speaker, and a microphone. Unfortunately, the OPPO Reno 4 doesn’t have a 3.5mm audio jack and, instead, relies on the USB Type-C port for audio output.
Oppo Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro Specifications (Expected)
Apart from the official render and teaser of the phone, specifications of Oppo Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro also appeared on Weibo. However, the authenticity of the source is still not confirmed.
According to the leak, the Oppo Reno 4 is expected to come with a 6.43-inch 2.5D curved glass display with a dual-punch-hole cutout. However, this is somewhat different than what we have seen in the official render that shows only a single front camera.
On the other hand, the OPPO Reno 4 Pro will have a slightly larger 6.55-inch screen with 3D curved glass and a single-punch hole cutout. This indicates that the above renders show off the top model.
Under the hood, both of the models are expected to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC with 5G connectivity. The Reno 4 is tipped to come in two models: 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB storage. While the Reno 4 Pro may come with 8GB + 128GB storage and 12GB + 256GB.
In the imaging department, the Oppo Reno 4 is expected to sport a triple rear camera module with a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP monochrome lens. On the other hand, the Reno 4 Pro is tipped to sport a 48MP primary sensor with OIS, a 12MP night-scene video camera, and a 13MP telephoto lens. Both the models are said to pack a 4,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.
