Oppo Reno 4 Alleged Live Image Leak Shows a Strange Design

0

Oppo had launched the Oppo Reno 3 series in China back in December last year. The Oppo Reno 3 series came with two phones – Reno 3 5G and Reno 3 Pro 5G. However, none of these were launched outside of China as the global variant of the phone was completely different from the Chinese model with the same branding. And now, the company seems to be gearing up to launch the successor of Reno 3 – the Oppo Reno 4 which has been leaked in live images.

The live images of Oppo Reno 4 have been shared by multiple users on the Chinese microblogging site, Weibo. Well, the original source o this leaked image is still unknown. However, this image was first shared on Weibo by a well-known Chinese tipster called Ice Universe.

Well, looking at the image, we have noticed a few things related to the device. The Oppo Reno 4 is seen sporting a quad-camera setup. The first three sensors are arranged vertically on the top left corner of the phone’s back, whereas the fourth sensor is placed adjacent to the third sensor. The LED flash is placed at right to the first sensor at the top.

As far as the sensors are concerned, the first three could be primary, ultra-wide, and telephoto. The last one placed to the side of the array could be a ToF, macro, or depth sensor.

Well, the design of the camera placement is quite weird as all the three sensors have large modules that look awful. Also, the design somewhat mimics that of LG Velvet whose cameras of different sizes imitate water droplets.

Well, as for the credibility of this leak, there is a possibility that the live images of Oppo Reno 4 are fake. Also, looking at the track record of smartphone companies like Oppo, Vivo, OnePlus, Relame, and iQOO, they never launched the fourth successor of a device with ‘4’ attached to its name since it is considered a bad omen in China. So, we advise you to take this leak as a grain of salt.
