Oppo launches 2GB RAM variant of Oppo A15 at Rs 9,490

Smartphone brand Oppo has launched a new variant of its affordable Oppo A15 phone. The company has announced a 2GB RAM model of the handset. The new variant packs 32GB internal storage and is priced at Rs 9,490. It will be available on e-commerce site Amazon along with offline retail stores across the country.
To recall, the handset was launched in October this year. At the time of launch, the phone had a single variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. It was priced at Rs 10,990.
The new 2GB RAM variant of Oppo A15 will come in both colour models — Dynamic Black and Mystery Blue.
Oppo A15: Specifications
Oppo A15 is equipped with a 6.52-inch water drop screen with a 89% screen-to-body ratio and 1600 x 720 pixel resolution. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core processor and runs on ColorOS 7.2 operating system. The phone offers features like Dark mode, three-finger scrolling screenshot and icon pull down gesture. The smartphone comes with HyperBoost 2.1 for better gaming experience.
The handset has an internal storage capacity of 32GB which can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card. Oppo A15 comes with Eye Comfort Filters which the company says can filter out harmful blue light.
As far as the camera is concerned, Oppo A15 boasts of a 5MP camera at the front for selfies. On the rear, the handset features a 13MP main sensor, a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor.
The device is backed by a 4230mAh battery which the company says can last upto one-day.
