Today Oppo has launched a new ‘A’ series smartphone, called Oppo A73 in China, the device was spotted in TENAA two months ago and now the company has officially launched it. The smartphone comes with the price tag of 1699 yuan (($256 / Rs 16,500 approx) and is available in Champagne and Black colour options. The device is available only in China now, and there is no word about its global release, but it’s likely to be launched in some Asian countries soon.
Talking about specifications, the Oppo A73 runs on Color OS 3.2 based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system. It sports 6” Full-HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) TFT-LTPS display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by a 2.5 GHz Octa-core MediaTek Helio P23 MT6763T coupled with Mali-G71 MP2 GPU. It offers 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.
For photography, the Oppo A73 comes equipped with a 13 MP rear camera with f2.2 aperture and LED flash. On the front, it has a 16 MP camera with f2.0 aperture.
The Oppo A73 is fueled by a 3200 mAh battery with fast charging support. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM support, 4G LTE, Wifi 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS. There is also a fingerprint scanner on the back. It measures 156.5 x 76.0 x 7.5 mm and weighs 152 grams
