Oppo A3 With 19:9 FullView Display 16MP Camera Launched


Oppo has today launched its latest mid-range smartphone dubbed as Oppo A3 in China. The smartphone comes with the price tag of Yuan 2,099 ($332/ Rs. 22,100 approx)  and is available to purchase in China. The company is offering a special introductory price of Yuan 1,999 (Rs. 21,000 approx) for a limited time. It comes in Black, Pink, Red, and Silver colour options.

Similar to the Oppo F7 Diamond special edition, the Oppo A3 sports a fancy triangular design under the glass back. It uses ‘nano-scale microcrystalline’ tech to provide a diamond effect in colour patterns.

Talking about the specifications, the Oppo A3 runs on ColorOS 5.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. It sports a 6.2” full-HD+ (1080×2280 pixels) LTPS 19:9 display with a pixel density of 405ppi. The smartphone is powered by up to 2GHz MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core processor coupled with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. It offers 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.

For photography, the Oppo A3 comes equipped with a 16MP rear camera with  f/1.8 aperture and dual-LED flash for better lowlight capturing. On the front, it has an 8MP selfie shooter f/2.2 aperture. it comes with AI-based beautification and scene recognition features. The front camera also comes with facial recognition technology that 128 face points to unlock the device in just 0.08 seconds.

The Oppo A3 is fueled by a 3400mAh battery with a dual-core artificial intelligence chip to manage your power. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM support, G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and micro-USB port with OTG support. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, and a proximity sensor. The smartphone also comes with an AI-based smart assistant. It measures 56×75.3×7.8mm and weighs 159 grams.
