We have already seen OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro that was launched earlier this month. However, some recent leaks claimed that the company is also working on a cheaper version of the OnePlus 8 series in the name of OnePlus Z which is expected to be launched in July. Now, a publication shared a hands-on shot of the OnePlus Z smartphone today revealing its front design.
The live images of OnePlus Z show a flat-screen which we were earlier speculated. This is completely different from the other two phones from the OnePlus 8 series which comes with a curved screen. The OnePlus Z hands-on image is seen to sporting a top-center positioned punch-hole on the display. If this comes out to be true, this will be the first smartphone from the company to feature a top-center positioned punch-hole display.
The image also reveals that the device has an AMOLED display that is equipped with an in-screen fingerprint reader. Well, no further details of the device have been revealed by this live image of OnePlus Z. As for the credibility of this leak, since it is one of the first live image leaks of the phone, we advise you to take this as a grain of salt.
OnePlus Z Specifications (Expected)
Considering some earlier rumors and leaks, the OnePlus Z could be powered by Dimensity 1000Lv chipset from MediaTek. The device is expected to feature a 6.4-inch Optic AMOLED display that supports full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.
The OnePlus Z may house a 4,000mAh battery. It is expected to be running on Android 10 with OxygenOS at the top. It may come with a front camera of 16-megapixel. The rear side of the phone may sport a 48-megapixel + 16-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera setup.
