OnePlus rolls out Oxygen 10.5.4 update to OnePlus Nord

BBK-owned smartphone brand OnePlus has rolled out a new software update to its most-recently launched smartphone — OnePlus Nord. The company has rolled out the OxygenOS 10.5.4 as an incremental update globally, including India.
As part of this update, the company is rolling out system-level changes, camera upgrades and one cloud services related update, which is specific to users in India.
The software update will be over-the-air (OTA) will be rolled out in a phased manner and should reach all the users of OnePlus Nord in a few days.
Here is a complete changelog of the update:
* System
– Improved launch speed of Gallery
– Improved display experience
– Fixed issue of being unable to join Red Cable Club (IN only)
– Fixed issue of background music pausing when launching front camera
* Camera
– Improved quality of video calls
– Improved colour accuracy and white balance for low-light selfies
– Improved vibrancy and colour accuracy of the macro camera
* Cloud Service
– Fixed issue of syncing Notes (IN only)
This update includes improvements in terms of display experience, which means that it could bring the fix for the display issue that Oneplus Nord users have been complaining about. Users have complained of seeing a green or yellow screen tint when the display is at lower brightness levels of around 25%.
Meanwhile, this week OnePlus also teased images of the next OxygenOS update, which the company will be rolling out to its users. This custom OS update will be based on the upcoming Android 11, which Google is set to release soon.
As per a report by 9to5Google, OnePlus has hinted at three major aspects of the upcoming operating system update including a major UI design, improved dark mode and always-on display.
