OnePlus Power Bank may launch soon in India

Consumer technology giant OnePlus may soon launch a power bank in the country. A listing on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has reportedly appeared online suggesting that the company is gearing up to launch a power bank.
The certificate on the BIS portal has been posted by @Sudhanshu1414 on Twitter. The image shows that the power bank has been manufactured in Guangdong, China by Oppo.
This is not the first time a potential launch of the OnePlus power bank has been claimed.Back in February 2020, OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei posted on Twitter asking his followers to retweet his tweet if they would like a “fast charging power bank.” However, since then there has been no buzz around the device.
It remains to be seen if the rumoured OnePlus power bank will come with the same fit charge support as the OnePlus smartphones.
Meanwhile, recently it was reported that OnePlus may also launch a new smartphone series rather than just a single device. Also, it was reported that the company may give a miss to its ’T’ variant of the OnePlus 8 Pro and just launch the OnePlus 8T in the coming months. Earlier this month, some likely specifications of OnePlus 8T surfaced on the web. As per these the ‘T’ series phone of OnePlus 8 will run on Qualcomm 865+ processor and offer 120hz refresh rate.
