OnePlus Nord series — the affordable lineup from the Chinese smartphone brand — is set to get a new smartphone called OnePlus Nord SE, according to a report by Android Central.
As per the report, the OnePlus Nord SE — that is codenamed Ebba — will come with support for 65W fast charging for the 4500mAh battery. This is the same as the current flagship smartphone OnePlus 8T. This means that just as the OnePlus 8T, the OnePlus Nord SE is also claimed to charge fully under 40 minutes.
In terms of other specs, the Android Central report claims that the device will feature an AMOLED panel and will come powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 SoC.
As for the expected launch date, the report suggests that it is expected to do this “shortly after the OnePlus 9, which is slated for an official unveil in March 2021.”
The handset is going to be launched in India as well as in Europe, adds the report.
To recall, the in October OnePlus launched two mid-range smartphones under the Nord series — Nord N10 and Nord N100 — however they were launched in India but only came to US and Europe regions.
The first Oneplus Nord smartphone was launched back in August, which was an India-first mobile. Launched at a starting price of Rs 24,999, the Oneplus Nord is backed by Snapdragon 765G processor.
