OnePlus Buds Pro 2R with ANC and Dynaudio tuning launched in India

OnePlus, at the Cloud11 event, announced the OnePlus Buds Pro 2, and alongside that, the company announced the Buds Pro 2R, exclusive to India.
The Buds Pro 2R comes with a rather affordable price tag of Rs 9,999 than the Buds Pro 2, which costs Rs 11,999. However, with the lower price comes a few compromises. Here’s everything you need to know about the OnePlus Buds 2R.
OnePlus Buds Pro 2R is pretty much the same as the Buds Pro 2.
The Buds Pro 2R comes equipped with an 11mm dynamic driver and a 6nm planar diagram, a similar configuration you can find inside the Buds Pro 2. These also have Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) with an option to personalise the noise cancellation further. Also, similar to the Buds Pro 2, the Buds Pro 2R is also tuned by Dynaudio.
The earbuds have Bluetooth 5.3 with binaural low-latency Bluetooth transmission, ensuring minimal audio and video delay. The ultra-low latency mode of 54ms provides an immersive gaming experience. The dual connections feature enables you to switch between different devices easily.
With the Buds Pro 2, OnePlus introduced Dolby-powered head tracking and Google’s Spatial Audio. However, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2R skips out on these two features.
The earbuds also come with a cervical spine health feature, which monitors your posture by checking the pressure on your cervical spine. However, This feature is only available on smartphones running OxygenOS 11.
Again, the earbuds have pressure-sensitive controls, which let you adjust the volume.
The Buds Pro 2R are IPX4 rated, which means they are resistant to water and dust. The earbuds have pressure-sensitive controls, which let you adjust the volume.
The battery life of the OnePlus Buds Pro 2R is claimed to be 39 hours, the same as the Buds Pro 2. But unlike the Buds Pro 2, the Buds Pro 2R does not support Qi wireless charging. But, these have fast charging that can give 10 hours of listening time for 10 minutes of charge.
So, for Rs 2,00 less, you get Dynaudio tuning, ANC, and 39 hours of listening time. But you miss out on spatial audio with head tracking and wireless charging.
