OnePlus 7 Pro will be Water Resistant Without IP Rating


The Chinese Premium Smartphone Manufacturer OnePlus is all set to bring its flagship smartphones on the market next week with the new OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. Yes, there will be two new flagship devices from OnePlus for its fanboys across the globe. Today’s report claims that the OnePlus 7 Pro smartphone will come with a water-resistant body but there will be no IP Ratings.

We have been receiving regular leaks and rumours about OnePlus smartphones from various sources. If you are someone who frequently falls smartphone into the water, then this news might just make you a little happier. OnePlus 7 Pro will be fully water resistant.

Just like the predecessors, this years OnePlus smartphones will not come with official IP Ratings but still, the officials have revealed that the OnePlus 7 Pro smartphone will be water resistant. They took to the official community page to respond to the consumers regarding the availability of the water resistance feature on their new-generation flagship phones.

According to officials, when you launch an IP Rating Certified phone, it will cost extra money to the users and the actual pricing of the phones would be increased. However, you can still launch the phones without this rating while making the Water Resistance feature available for the users.

We have also got an official teaser video of the upcoming OnePlus 7 Series phones claiming the devices to be water resistant. The device will definitely be water-resistant; still, you should not intentionally drown it in the water, as it lacks official IP Ratings.

The recently released official teaser of the device is full of controversy. The device lacks IP Ratings still they are advertising with the Water Resistant feature. The same reason for the consumers’ confusion. After watching the video teaser, many consumers took to the official community forum and posted their queries.

Just like its previous smartphones, the new OnePlus 7 Smartphones will also carry high price tags and will land into the premium smartphones segment. More official details will be revealed soon as the company has decided to launch these devices in the next week.
