Just after a couple of days of its previous update, OnePlus 7 is again getting a brand new update in the form of OxygenOS 9.5.6. This new update brings camera improvements along with the June 2019 Android security patch.
The OnePlus 7 OxygenOS 9.5.6 update is rolling out in a staged manner and will be received by a limited number of users initially. While a full-fledged rollout will be held in a few days after making sure there are no critical bugs, the company notes.
As per the patch notes, the new update brings the June 2019 Android Security Patch, improved audio quality, optimized photo quality, and optimized sensitivity of automatic brightness. Apart from this, general bugs fixes and performance improvements are also bundled in this update.
In case, if you haven’t got the update notification, check for the update manually in the Setting menu. Once, you get the update, make sure to bind you up on a better network either be on a good Wi-Fi connection or a good mobile network. Remember to maintain at least 60 percent battery on your device before you proceed to download and install the update.
Previously, OnePlus rolled out the Oxygen OS 9.5.4.GM57AA update to OnePlus 7. The update brings in DC Dimming which enables the phone’s screen to not flicker at low brightness settings. It also brings the Fnatic Mode as well as some optimizations for the fingerprint unlock and the camera performance of the smartphone.
In India, the base variant of OnePlus 7 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage is available to buy at Rs. 32,999, while the 8GB RAM, 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 37,999.
