OnePlus 6, OnePlus 6T gets new OxygenOS open Beta Update

OnePlus has just pushed the latest Open Beta builds for the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T smartphones. The company has rolled out the new builds in less than two weeks after the company has rolled out the previous Open Beta builds for these devices. The new beta builds brings new changes and features to the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T devices.

The devices are now receiving the latest Open Beta versions, OxygenOS Open Beta 21 for the OnePlus 6 and Open Beta 13 for the OnePlus 6T. The company has already started to roll out the updates to the users who are already in for the beta program.

Although there has been a lot of changes and fixes rolled out the latest Open Beta version, one of the most significant feature added to the system is the Screen Recorder. This feature was first seen on the OnePlus 7 Pro and now, the company is rolling out for both of these smartphones. There will also be a new FPS (Frames Per Second) option to give users more control over screen recording.

As mentioned above, there are few refinements made into the OS to smoothen the system performance. Also, there are some quality improvements made to a range of app including the weather app. Apart from this, the new update brings new animation effects, improved experience with searching for contacts, and optimized quick responses for declined calls.

Since this is a beta version of the OxygenOS, it will be unstable than that of the regular version. So, proceed to install this beta version on your own risk as it might create some problem while going through this latest build. However, if you have enough knowledge about the OS or have tested some beta earlier, you can check it out this OxygenOS open beta.
