Office for iPad to Get Mouse and Trackpad Support


Today, Microsoft has announced that they are currently working on an update for their MS Office for iPadOS by adding support for Mouse and Trackpad later this year. Microsoft has been working hard to bring the much-needed update of its apps on iOS devices. Today, they have announced a major update for the iPadOS of its MS Office app.

The update to bring a lot of extra features along with the support for mouse and trackpad. The app includes MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint and many other apps included in the MS Office package.

iPadOS 13.4 update, the recent iPadOS update gets support for Trackpad and Mouse which includes a lot of popular apps. The update supports iPad devices which were launched in the last four to five years.

A lot of keyboards supports this new Trackpad including Apple’s Magic Keyboard, Brydge’s Pro+, Logitech’s Combo. The same keyboard supports 10.2-Inch iPad and the 10.5-inch iPad Air devices.

The trackpad is an innovative inventions of Apple that brings a circle on the screen as a cursor display. The circle pops up when you have the finger on the trackpad. The circle will then converts into different shapes and sizes which you can customize as per your needs.

Apart from this, the individual Office Apps such as MS Word, MS Powerpoint, MS Excel will be there as separate apps for iOS device. You can download and install these apps separately on a respective iOS device from the official App Store. We will get to learn some more information about this update later this year.
